This is a delicious fall stew! You can make it stove top or slow cook it!
I always add and take away from my recipies as needed so they are not always exact!
In a slow cooker :
- 3 diced peeled apples
- 2-3 cups of shredded chicken pieces
- 1 diced onion
- 3 carrots sliced thin
- 2 cups pure apple cider
- 8 cups chicken broth- your own is best
- 2 cups brown rice
- salt and pepper
- dash of cayenne
- 2 tbs curry powder
When it has slow cooked all day I turn it to low and add 2 cups of whole milk or cream! Serve with warm bisquits!
